Luxurious Ideas For Larger Gardens
Are you lucky enough to have a large garden at your home? If so, are you making the most of it? A garden gives you a whole extra space outside that can be utilised- ideal for entertaining guests, a space for children and pets to run around and play and somewhere you can relax in the evenings and weekends. If yours is a mass of weeds or wasteland, it’s so worth the time, effort and money to put it right so you can make the most of it. If your garden is bigger and you have a little extra to spend, why not consider some of these more luxurious ideas?
An Outdoor Kitchen
If you want to get friends and family round more often and host incredible parties, an outdoor kitchen could be the way to go. You can have a barbeque and pizza oven installed, units made of brick with plenty of storage, you can even have things like fridges and wine/ drinks fridges installed. It means you can cook and be a fantastic host while still being involved in the party and not shut away in a separate room cooking. An outdoor kitchen could allow you to host family weddings, christenings, birthdays and other special occasions for lots of guests.
A Swimming Pool
A swimming pool is a fantastic addition to a large garden. You can throw pool parties, it’s a great opportunity for your kids to have friends round to socialise in the warmer months and you can go for daily swims as a way to keep fit too. Plus stunning pool landscaping looks nice too and can give a beautiful luxurious finish to the garden. If you live in a colder climate, invest in pool heating so you can use it year round.
An Outdoor Fireplace
The garden doesn’t have to just be used over the warmer months. During the autumn and even the winter, crisp dry days are fantastic for sitting outside. It can be chilly though, so an outdoor fireplace is just the thing. Get it burning and sit outside with some hot chocolate or hot cider and a couple of cosy blankets. During the spring and summer an outdoor fireplace is useful if your garden parties stretch through to the evening too. A great way to carry on the party and keep everyone warm once the sun goes down.
A Water Feature
Water features can come in all shapes and sizes, and in all budgets so can be suitable for any garden. But if you have a larger garden and more to spend, why not go with something spectacular? It could be a water feature as part of your swimming pool, it could be part of a pond or a standalone feature. There are all kinds of wonderful designs to go for, so have a browse and go with something that fits the theme of your garden.
