Give Fitbit Flex 2 This Holiday!
The past few months, I have been actively working on trying to better myself. I am trying to watch what I eat, trying to be more active, and removing stuff from my diet that I really do not need. It is incredibly hard to break old habits. I think having a visual on how stagnate you are and even with the ability to work together with friends to a common goal, can help you get to success. That is one thing I love about Fitbit! There are so many options and it really brings your lifestyle into a visual format, which for someone like me is a must.
I started wearing the Fitbit Flex 2 not long ago. Honestly it made me feel horribly about myself, but it is giving me the tools I need for success. This may sound like a negative, but really I love having the Fitbit. I had no idea how inactive I was. I thought I was doing okay, but this really showed me that there is no way I could be classified as okay. We should be taking about 10,000 a day. The first day I wore my Fitbit, I did not even make it to 5,000. I felt completely awful! Since that first day I push myself to get to at least 10,000 a day. This is an incredible start for me to better myself.
I am now able to gauge how much sleep I am getting, how much water I am drinking and what foods I am eating. I can also see how many calories I have been burning and how many steps I have taken. I am far more aware of what I am doing and how well I am doing, then I think I ever have been before. You can connect with your friends and it really brings a neat social element to it. My friends and I, no matter how far apart we are, can come together and encourage each other everyday. Triumph in our successes and it makes it even more incredible.
I get reminders to move and I really enjoy that. Sometimes I sit at my desk for hours writing up stuff or doing research and I can not tell you how often I move. I love getting a tiny reminder from my Fitbit to tell me to move my behind out of my computer chair. I also like that my Fitbit will vibrate when I get a call or text. That is truly handy, especially when I am not really paying attention to my phone. If you double tap your Fitbit it will tell you how close you are to your goal of 10,000 steps! There is very little the Fitbit can not do! I think I love that I can go for a swim or take a dunk in the bath and if I forget to take of my wristband, I don’t have to worry about it breaking. This thing is so light weight I forget most the time I am wearing it, which makes wearing it so much easier.
Another great feature about the Fitbit Flex 2 is that you can wear it in 3 different ways. You can wear a wristband, which it comes with 2 wristbands or bangles in 2 different sizes. You can also hide it in a pendant around your neck or you can use a clip! It takes fashionable accessories and turns them into useful ones as well. I have debated giving myself other options and getting a pendant and bangle so I can be stylish and no one even notices I am wearing a Fitbit. It is so comfortable I barely notice, but sometimes I have a need to dress up and this wristband is not really meant for evening wear.
This makes an excellent gift for someone who has been taking their health seriously, or someone who possibly has a new years resolution to lose some weight or just get more healthy. It is great for anyone who is or wants to be active and track their goals! I am in love with it and I can not wait to see how far I can go with its assistance in my life!
