Anticipating Mass Effect Andromeda
I remember a cold fall day, when I hobbled my way to GameStop to FINALLY try out Mass Effect 2. A friend of mine told me over and over that I needed to give it a try. I had hurt my back and I needed a game to play on my Xbox, while I was on the couch. I ended up being there for a couple month and it was horrible, but the one thing that made the time so much better, was Mass Effect! After I played through Mass Effect 2, I went ahead and got Mass Effect 1. Then played through both! Then played it again!
I fell in love with it, and had no idea why I waited so long to give it a try. I remember the anticipation of Mass Effect 3! I went to the midnight release and sat first in line waiting for my collector’s edition. I have a lot of goodies that other people do not, in game! Plus awesome pictures and a picture book and a nice case for my game with FemShep and BroShep on it. I felt so insanely special and I logged in and ended up not sleeping that night. After playing it through, I did ANOTHER complete playthrough of all three games.
Mass Effect Andromeda will be coming out March 2017, unless it is pushed back, and I will accept that if it makes it even more impressive! I am currently playing through Mass Effect again on stream. Currently I stream on Beam and on Twitch, and I am working my way through the first Mass Effect and having a great time. I love chatting with people and discussing theories and trying to decide what choices I will make. So far I am flirting with Kaidan Alenko pretty hard core. A lot of people seem to dislike him, but I love him to pieces!
It is so much fun playing it through. If you think Andromeda is something you might be into, you should consider grabbing the trilogy or all the games! They are not too expensive and if you get it for Xbox 360, it is backward compatible for the XBox One! That is what I am currently playing on now is the Xbox One and it is great. The load times are significantly less and I love that. They are all great games with lots of endings and a great combat system.
1-3 is about Commander Shepard. You can choose to be a female or male and Shepard is completely voiced, it is amazing. Andromeda is not about Shepard anymore, and I love that it is still in the Mass Effect Universe. Shepard had 3 whole games and it is time to move on, but continue with the same world. Can not wait for the excitement of Andromeda!
